John has been recently hired to lead the custom publishing division of Greenspring Media. He was previously the deputy editor at Gray Duck Media, and now oversees such titles as Live Play AAA, Real Food, Twin Cities Living, and more.

Associate Editor, Greenspring Media

Liv is associate editor of custom publications at Greenspring Media. While she joined the team in October 2020, she has enjoyed contributing to numerous publications across Greenspring and working with a talented team of editors.

Kathryn Saffell

Production Designer

Kathryn is a production designer at Greenspring Media, where she works with editors and art directors on custom publications and Minnesota Monthly. Kathryn is a transplant to Minnesota, and with every issue she helps produce, she loves the state even more. With a background in publishing, Kathryn enjoys devoting her time to laying out her love of print on the page.

Sommer brings over 15 years of design experience to Greenspring Media and loves working on titles that celebrate all Minnesota has to offer. Sommer has previously held positions at Bonnier Corp. where she worked on 15-plus national titles, as well as Shutterfly, and she currently runs her own photography business.

Tammy has more than 25 years of media leadership experience developing franchise and custom publications, digital media, and event solutions for some of the country’s preeminent publishers. She works closely with key stakeholders to determine high-level goals and measurable deliverables for all of Greenspring’s partners.
